James 1v.1-12
How do I get through my trial?
1. Introduction: How do I get through my trial? I have to learn to count. I have to have faith to “count it ALL joy.” I have to have faith to see, to believe, to understand, to be able to stand firm, and to see my reward ahead.
2. Faith In God’s Person. (v. 2)
a. The only way I can “count it all joy,” is to believe that God is in control and that He is a good God who is working everything out for me. (Romans 8:28). Read more…

The Path to Peace
1. Introduction: There is a way to end the violence and to bring peace and prosperity to this world. While many commentators read this verse and say it refers to the time when Christ returns and sets up His millennial reign, the text says, “it shall come to pass in the last days,” and we are now in the last days. (Acts 2:15-17). The kingdom of God is now. The Spirit is here now. His word is true now. Jesus is Lord now. We do not have to wait for time, we have to look to God and discover what he has already given and already done for us. Read more…
